9.30-11.00. My usual circuit. Later, after visiting Calstone Coombes, I returned and visited the slopes below the monument - saw a fine example of a MF caterpillar nest with 3rd instar caterpillars (photo). They have chosen a good location, and should escape being disturbed by the grazing cattle.
