My first Small Skipper in our garden.this year.I saw a Skipper flying around the garden earlier but it did not land.Then my wife said what is this small butterfly on our pansies.it stayed for a few minutes on several plants and I was able to get up close.to it and made sure it was a Small Skipper and not a Large Skipper.
