11.45-12.45. A cool breeze sweeping across the hillside meant there was little on the wing on Sunday, so instead I surveyed the hawthorn bushes on the slope and bottom field edge for GH, with unexpected success. I wouldn't have seen a tenth of them if I had stuck to my usual loop round.
