The Silver-spotted Skipper (f) (photo attached) was in bad shape.It was large and had light spots on underside of wings not clear in photos. distinct from Large Skipper.
There was also a silver-washed fritillary VALENZINA variant (photo).
The Purple Hairstreak stayed in the trees flying about erratically.
