Between 10:40 and midday. Stiff breeze (S, SW) 23 degrees Celsisus. Alternatively cloudy followed by full sun with a brief light shower. Single recorded Essex Skipper was the only individual positively identified as such. Dark Green Fritillaries observed on that portion of the by-way imnmediately adjacent to the High Clear Down Reserve.
