Description
This white moth has an irregular darker cross band. The thickness of the cross band can vary and in some individuals it is not continuous but forms a series of blotches. The hindwings are whitish and fairly plain.

One generation, mid-May to July

Hedge Bedstraw, Cleavers, Primrose.
Habitat
Woodland rides, hedgerows, chalk downland, gardens.
Wiltshire Status
Common and widely distributed.
